back HOME

Well, we're back in Wheaton after having a good time in Germany spending time with family on both sides.

It's good to be back and both of us realized while we were in Germany that Wheaton and our house and community has really become HOME. That was so good to feel.

Not a whole lot has happened in the last few weeks as I have been laying fairly low with bronchitis, a sinus infection and then TMJ. But I think I am almost over the last one... Andrew reminds me while I talk not to open my mouth too wide. :) Very helpful.

The Forum season is in full swing for me, so I better not get sick again and miss any more work. As I have received applications and learn more and more about the volunteers my excitement and anticipation for the 2011 European Leadership Forum grows exponentially. Andrew begins his new job within Crossway tomorrow. Also, very exciting for him.

I've been making lots of messes in the kitchen and then cleaning them up - I seem to be getting better at that - while I try to improve my cake decorating skills. I really think that I need to take a class, though? Anyone interested in doing it with me?! :0)

Our good friends Jillian and John are due to have their son any day and so we can't wait for that to happen.

We'd appreciate your prayers regarding community here in Wheaton.
