T - 9 Days

Well, hello again! As I write this post, I'm sitting next to our golden pumpkin, filled with Halloween candy, and I just may have exceeded my 5 piece a day limit that I set for Andrew. Oops.

I cannot believe that we are just over a week away before Caleb and I get on that airplane and fly to Paris and then to my childhood hometown of Hannover, Germany. I'm so excited to get to see family and friends, but I would be lying if I didn't say that I was feeling some nerves about traveling for about 17 hours with a 16 month old on my lap. And of course, we are sad that we will be leaving Daddy/Andrew at home to man the fort for three weeks. Thank you to all of you who have already started praying for us.

I'm hoping to keep all of you who are interested up to date on what's happening on the other side of the pond.

A few questions for you as I get ready for our trip.

1) What kind of fun little toys can/should I pack for Caleb to keep him entertained on the airplane/while traveling?

2)We're also thinking about making care packages for people sitting next our by us on the airplane. Ideas for little things to hand out? :)

Danke und bis bald!

  1. So far, I've gotten these items as good options for the care packages for other passengers: Gum, Ear Plugs, Tissues and possible Crossword Puzzles. Any others?
